ph3Role Purpose /h3 pThe Field Services team is responsible for the delivery of services all over the region for field, fibre and facilities. We cover all technologies (infrastructure, transmission, IP and Voice) and follow structured processes to provide our customers with fast delivery timescales while guaranteeing a quality level compliant with Interoute’s goals of performance and cost effectiveness. /p pThe Field Facility Engineer is responsible for autonomously delivering the day to day facility field activities associated with implementation and network build projects, for both internal and external customers. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liTo produce, maintain, manage and report upon network build and customer projects /li liSupport the development and design of the network and its expansion /li liTo carry out network migration activities (outside normal hours, on an occasional basis) /li liTo ensure that all design changes, works documents, new network deployment and customer deployments are executed as per design process. /li liTo provide local multi-vendor telecom field operations and maintenance services, in order to ensure industry leading service performance. /li liTo support and ensure a smooth customer experience in conjunction with the Pre-Sales, Service Delivery and Post-Sales teams for all regional orders. /li liManage and maintain integrity of data in the EXA systems /li liEnsure projects within remit are delivered to technical standards /li liSupport facilities equipment installations for products and customers within assigned sites and perform facilities related Planned Works raised by the Network Operations Centre as required. /li liAct as key Delegate and Escalation partner for Field for the country. /li liProvide training and mentoring to Field team members. /li liProvide support to Pre-sales Bid management for quotations and large opportunities.



/li liAssist with general improvement by providing feedback on snags as well as challenging the process and systems and sharing ideas on ways to develop efficiency. /li liSupport the Network Operating Centre (NOC) as needed to maintain facility and network continuity. /li liTo ensure good quality network as built design handover to Network Operations. /li liTo assist NOC with escalations to local suppliers during service delivery and all operational stages when required. /li liAs part of On Call support rota enabling 24x7 cover to fulfil operational activities. /li liEnsure suppliers work in accordance with local safety and security rules. /li liOther tasks as may be required by management /li /ul h3Individual Profile /h3 ul liExperience in the field of network build. /li liDelivery of carrier class telecoms network services. /li liGood knowledge of Field, Facilities and Service delivery activities. /li liProject management abilities /li liSelf-motivated with good organisational and communication skills. /li liAble to operate in a cross-functional matrix-management environment. /li liTeam player. /li liEngineering qualifications ideally degree in Telecom Engineering or equivalent /li liGeneral proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job.
