As a Junior R&D; Lab Chemist, you will work on our customers' projects and develop formulas based on their needs. You will use lab tools to formulate and modify sol-gel-based Coatings according to the annual goals for Industrial markets to meet our customers’ needs. You will gain skills with our training and career path. You will start learning from your colleagues and then become autonomous in your activities. **Responsibilities**: - Develop, modify and formulate Coatings products for our clients' projects based on existing formulas
- Drive chemical test drills, raw material evaluation, quality control specification, performance evaluation, data processing and generation.
- Analyze physical, chemical and mechanical properties of raw materials, intermediates and products using FTIR, TGA/DSC, GPC, SEM, rheometer, tensiometer, contact angle meter, TMA.
- Work with sales teams to provide technical assistance for new project evaluation and assist the customers when needed.
- Solve technical issues which involve sol-gel-based products at all levels (development, scale-up, production, quality control, customer complaints).
- Collaborate with other departments (QC lab, operation, production planning, regulation, EHS) to provide information to improve procedures. **Qualifications**: - Degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Short experience or interest in R&D; or product development activities in the industrial field
- Knowledge of lab materials
- Good written and speaking English
- Good computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft
