We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated scientist to establish and lead an independent research laboratory at the EMBL Epigenetics and Neurobiology Unit in Rome. EMBL appoints Group Leaders early in their career and provides a highly supportive environment for researchers in their first independent position, including the provision of a “Lead your Lab” management training program. The Group Leader package includes significant core funding, technician support, and access to students from EMBL’s International PhD Programme so that researchers can pursue ambitious and ground-breaking research programs. You have You have a doctoral degree and demonstrable ability and ambition to make fundamental biological discoveries and/or methodological advances. You are dedicated to developing positive relationships and providing leadership and guidance to team members. Your research will synergize with the activities at EMBL Rome and leverage and contribute to ongoing research across EMBL.
