- The preferred location for this position is **Trieste (Italy)**, but **Genova (Italy)** is also an option. In this position, full or tempo parziale remote working is an option too in accordance with local policy. **Your role and responsibilities** **As a Project Coordinator, your role will include but is not limited to the following**: - Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of funded projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for funders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
- Oversee compliance with funding agreements, including reporting and documentation requirements.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules, incorporating deliverables and milestones aligned with funding criteria.
- Track project progress and ensure adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) defined by funding bodies.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among teams to ensure smooth project execution.




- Prepare comprehensive financial and progress reports for funders and organizational leadership.
- Identify risks or potential issues and propose proactive solutions to mitigate them.
- Understand the management and allocation of EU funds, adopting a strategic approach for the acquisition of new funds. **Requirements for the position**: - Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Naval engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in coordinating projects, ideally with a focus on funded initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and verbal is essential.
- Availability to travel from time to time within Europe (approximately 10% of the time).
- Understanding of funding processes, compliance requirements, and grant management.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in project management tools and financial reporting systems.
