Overview: The HSE intern will support the team in daily activities related to health, safety, and environmental compliance, contributing to continuous improvement projects and ensuring adherence to safety procedures. She/He will work with external suppliers and business units to help implement solutions and maintain regulatory compliance. **Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE policies and procedures.- Participate in promoting a safety culture through tools like Near Miss analysis and safety improvement plans.- Help train team members on safety awareness and best practices.- Participate in safety and environmental training, including new employee orientation.- Work with business units to design compliant safety and environmental solutions for new projects and processes.- Help with internal inspections, audits,



and corrective actions for safety and environmental issues.- Collect and analyze accident data, proposing recommendations for improvement.- Support initiatives for waste reduction, reuse, and recycling.- Assist in incident investigations to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.- Contribute to updating emergency response and contingency plans.- Support ergonomic improvements and workplace assessments.- Ensure timely and accurate internal and external reporting. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Environmental Engineering or related field (knowledge in safety prevention is a plus).- Strong interest in health, safety, and environmental topics.- Ability to work well with teams and take initiative.- Good communication skills in English and Italian.
