ph3Job Description /h3 pThe Product Manager (Strategic Initiatives) will be key in designing and driving strategic product and marketing initiatives for both TOV and CBL SBUs. This role will need to ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with and fulfills enterprise objectives and has ownership of implementing all product roadmap initiatives such as (but not limited to) NPD, product enhancements and portfolio restructuring. Additionally, this covers ownership of supporting the Emerson planning process from the SBU perspective and other investigations such as competitor assessments, margin and GP analysis and regional pricing analysis. This requires coordination with multiple functions with the Global ISV organization. /p h3In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: /h3 ul liDevelopment, execution and communication of product portfolio roadmap and associated programs including managing and driving NPD process through all Stage/Gate process from Gate 0 to Gate 7 /li liGlobal product platforming and product positioning /li liImplement routine portfolio review (at least once a year) to determine opportunities for rationalization and obsolescence of products, in accordance with established Isolation Valve BU Product Lifecycle procedures /li liImplement routine price reviews to identify price opportunities and implement global and regional strategies (using Power Risk and other Emerson tools) /li liOwnership of investigations such as financials (pricing, margins, backlog), market (new industry penetrations, existing industry consolidations), competitor deepdive etc. as needed /li liSupport Product management leadership in Emerson planning process submissions. /li liDesign and execute strategic product and marketing initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives. /li liOwn and drive implementation of the product roadmap, including new product development, portfolio optimization, and product enhancements.



/li liPartner with stakeholders to ensure alignment of product strategies across TOV and CBL SBUs. /li liSupport the Emerson planning process from an SBU perspective, contributing insights and data-driven recommendations. /li liConduct competitor assessments, margin analysis, and gross profit evaluations to inform strategic decisions. /li liPerform regional pricing analysis and provide actionable recommendations to improve competitiveness and profitability. /li liCollaborate with global and cross-functional teams, including the Global ISV organization, to ensure seamless execution of initiatives. /li liMonitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and growth. /li /ul h3Who You Are /h3 pYou anticipate future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
