We are seeking a Senior Project Director to lead the delivery of a world‑class, highly prestigious new football stadium in Rome, Italy. This is a rare opportunity to manage all aspects of project implementation for one of the world’s leading sports venues, overseeing design, construction, and commissioning from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day project management, supervising Project Managers, Construction Managers, Project Controls, and Assistant Project Managers.
- Manage all Client direct contracts, including architects, engineers, consultants, and construction agreements.
- Monitor project budget, schedule, and design completion; conduct regular status meetings and report progress to the Client.
- Oversee procurement processes for subconsultants, vendors, and client-direct works.
- Establish and lead project team meetings to track design, construction, budget, and schedule progress.
- Manage quality control,



risk mitigation, and contractor performance on site.
- Review and negotiate change orders, time extension requests, and additional services to protect project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate approvals, permits, league and government authorizations, and support obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy.
- Facilitate commissioning and handover of the new venue.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance environment across all project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering high-value, complex sports, entertainment, or public assembly venues.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including ownership or board-level reporting.
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Italian.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; proficiency in Microsoft Project preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organised, analytical, and collaborative, with excellent problem-solving abilities. xysqume
