Document Controller – Data Centre Project

We are currently recruiting a Document Controller to join a major data centre construction project in Milan. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading international contractor delivering some of Europe's most complex and high‑profile mission‑critical projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project documentation, ensuring all records, drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, reports, and project communications are accurately controlled and distributed across the project team.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and control all project documentation in line with company procedures and project requirements

- Maintain document registers, RFI registers, action logs, issue logs, and project trackers

- Ensure all drawings, specifications, reports, schedules, and technical documents are correctly stored and distributed

- Monitor document revisions and ensure stakeholders are working from the latest approved information

- Track outstanding RFIs, actions, and project deliverables

- Produce weekly and monthly document control reports





- Support project teams with document management processes and compliance requirements

- Ensure all project documentation complies with company standards and integrated management systems

- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding document submissions and approvals

- Assist with project close‑out documentation and handover packages

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a Document Controller or Project Administrator role

- Previous construction, engineering, infrastructure, or data centre experience preferred

- Strong knowledge of document control procedures and systems

- Excellent xysqume organisational and administrative skills

- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience with document management platforms and collaboration systems advantageous

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment
