Work Schedule Requirements

This is a tempo parziale position. Required workdays, hours, weekends, holidays, and shift expectations will be discussed during the interview process to ensure a clear understanding of operational requirements prior to selection.

Upon appointment, the employee’s work schedule and tour of duty will be established in accordance with operational requirements and applicable Conditions of Employment (COE) provisions.

Summary of Responsibilities

Performs a combination of clerical and manual warehousing duties and activities in the water production requiring physical exertion and familiarity with warehousing and water production fundamentals.

1. Loads and unloads trucks and other means of transportation.
2. Stacks heavy crates of drinking water on pallets under specific speed requirements from the water production line.
3. Loads product by hand into designated racks.
4. Monitors water quality, makes adjustments as necessary or notifies supervisor if problem cannot be resolved.
5. Adjusts water production/packaging equipment to appropriate settings.
6. Assists in the proper receipt, verification and documentation of merchandise/supplies. Prepares and maintains internal reports and worksheet files.
7. Assists in the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment.




8. Assists with minor technical repairs.
9. May operate MHE, including forklift or pallet mover.
10. Maintains compliance with fire, safety sanitation and security requirements within the Water Plant.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

- PHYSICAL EFFORT: Must be able to lift 5-gallon bottles weighing 44 pounds each.
- SUPERVISORY CONTROL: Works under general supervision. Follows oral instructions and established practices; complies with sanitary and hygienic standards and safety precautions.

Qualification requirements Completion of high school or the equivalent. Creditable job-related experience may be substituted for the education requirement. Six months’ specialized experience in warehousing work or closely related activities preferred.

Fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.

MUST BE FLUENT IN SPOKEN AND WRITTEN ENGLISH.
