ppOneFinance 2026 is a multi-country, multi-entity Finance Transformation Program sponsored at Group level and currently active across 8+ countries and 30+ legal entities. The program is built on SAP S/4HANA as its core ERP, integrated with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), Ivalua (P2P), ServiceNow (financial services request management), Tagetik (CPM/consolidation), and SAP FPSL/GLPD for IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 compliance. The program covers full accounting standardization, record-to-report process harmonization, and digital transformation of Finance operations across the Group, in close partnership with Accenture, PwC, and BCG. /p pWe are looking for a bSenior SAP Expert /b with deep expertise in Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to join the OneFinance 2026 delivery team. Working within an international, fast-paced transformation environment, you will be the go-to functional and technical authority for all SAP accounting and controlling processes — from blueprint design through to hypercare and continuous improvement. /p pThis is a high-visibility, high-impact role. You will collaborate daily with Finance process owners, system integrators, and IT architects, and your work will directly shape how the Group runs its financial operations across Europe and beyond. /p h3Key responsibilities: /h3 ul liSAP FI/CO Design Configuration: Lead the functional design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA FI and CO modules, aligned with Group accounting standards and IFRS requirements. /li liSystems Integration: Ensure robust data flows between SAP and integrated platforms — Ivalua (P2P/procurement), ServiceNow (financial requests), Tagetik (consolidation and planning), and other country-specific systems. Define interface specifications and validate end-to-end accounting impacts. /li liMonth-End Period Closing: Define and optimize the Group month-end closing process within SAP, including intercompany reconciliation, accruals, depreciation runs, and financial reporting cycles. Support country teams during go-live and stabilization phases. /li liProcess Harmonization Optimization: Analyse existing country-level accounting processes and drive standardization across entities. Identify automation opportunities within SAP (e.g., using SAP BTP extensions or Fiori-based workflows)
to reduce manual effort and improve data quality. /li liTesting Quality Assurance: Own the functional testing strategy for FI/CO: define test scripts, coordinate SIT and UAT cycles, track defects, and ensure that resolution meets business requirements before each country go-live. /li liStakeholder Engagement Training: Act as the primary FI/CO point of contact for Finance process owners, internal audit, and external partners (Accenture, PwC). Design and deliver functional training for local Finance teams across rollout countries. /li liDocumentation Governance: Produce and maintain high-quality functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration rationale in line with program governance standards. Contribute to design authority sessions and change control processes. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related discipline. An advanced degree or SAP certifications are considered advantageous. /li li9/10 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO experience, including at least 2 full end-to-end S/4HANA implementation or migration cycles. /li liDeep expertise in SAP S/4HANA: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting. /li liStrong knowledge of SAP CO: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting, and Product Costing fundamentals. /li liAbility to translate complex business requirements into precise functional specifications and SAP configurations. /li liTrack record of delivering in large-scale, multi-country transformation programs within complex stakeholder environments. /li liProficiency in English at C1 level or above (working language of the program) /li liExperience in IT Service management on SAP-based solutions /li /ul h3Nice to Have: /h3 ul liExposure to SAP FPSL / GLPD or other IFRS sub-ledger solutions. /li liKnowledge of SAP BTP integration suite, SAP Integration Advisor, or iFlow configuration.
/li liExperience with Tagetik or similar CPM/consolidation tools in an integration context. /li liFamiliarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery frameworks. /li liSAP certification in FI, CO, or S/4HANA Finance. /li liProgramming skills in ABAP language (reading, de-bugging, writing) /li liExperience with P2P tools (Ivalua or Ariba) and their accounting implications. /li liExperience working in regulated financial services (insurance, banking, or similar) with exposure to IFRS 17 or IFRS 9 accounting requirements /li /ul h3What we offer: /h3 pWe offer employment at the VI level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement. /p pGross annual salary ranging between 50K€ and 55K€.
