Within the Operations area, we are seeking a Should Cost Engineer for our office in Cascina Costa (VA).
The main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below: identify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits)
identify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment estimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up) perform VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) analyses on mechanical and hydraulic products Requirements Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering degree (specialization in mechanical and hydraulic systems) knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems (rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft) mechanical technologies, development and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems problem solving skills initiative and motivation experience with VA/VE methodologies English, advanced/intermediate level (spoken and written B2/C1 Level) 4–5 years of experience in a similar role Seniority Junior: 3–5 years of experience WHAT WE OFFER Engagement, recognition of skills, and a strong focus on people's well-being and safety are the cornerstones of our corporate culture.

How does the selection process work?
