ppRINA is currently recruiting for a Tuscany, Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria Molise Certification Industrial Services Inspector to join its office in Firenze, Italy within the Mediterranean Africa Certification Division.
/p h3Mission /h3 pThe role is focused on ensuring the safety and quality of industrial services (e.g. electrics mandatory certification, lifting equipment mandatory certification, elevator and plant certification, welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification and CE marking) helping businesses meet regulatory standards and deliver reliable, safe services to their customers.
The role works under the supervision of Senior/Principal Inspector on more complex assignments.
/p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 ul liConduct Inspections: Perform on-site inspections, examinations and audits to assess compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations /li liDocumentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection, examination and audit reports, documenting findings and providing clear recommendations for corrective actions or improvements; Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and rejections.
/li liMaterial and Procedure Review: Review materials, manufacturing/process procedures and testing methods (e.g. NDT) to ensure they meet certification requirements.
/li liQuality Assurance: Monitor the quality control processes during the activities, ensuring adherence to quality control plans.
/li liCode Compliance: Stay up to date with industry codes, standards, and regulations to ensure that all inspections or examinations are conducted in accordance with the latest requirements.
/li liQualification: Assess the qualifications and certifications of services and operators, ensuring they meet the appropriate standards.
/li liSafety: Promote and enforce safety measures, ensuring that the operations are conducted in a safe and compliant manner.
Evaluate the reliability of equipment and plant inspected with tests and measures to ensure a compliance safety.
/li liClient Interaction: Communicate with clients, answer their questions competently,



and provide information about the certification scheme.
/li liContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of inspection procedures.
/li liTraining: Stay current with the latest inspection techniques and technologies, and provide training to colleagues and clients as needed /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor's Degree in Engineering General /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience in industrial service inspection, particularly in areas such as electrics, lifting equipment, welding, pressure equipment, personnel certification, and CE marking.
/li liKnowledge of regulatory standards and mandatory certifications relevant to industrial services (e.g., electrical systems, lifting devices, pressure vessels, etc.).
/li liStrong understanding of quality assurance, safety regulations, and technical standards applicable to industrial services and equipment.
/li liAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and compliance documentation.
/li liAttention to detail and the ability to assess compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
/li liProficiency in using inspection tools and test equipment.
/li liExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings and interacting with clients and team members.
/li liAbility to work independently and under the supervision of senior inspectors for more complex assignments.
/li liStrong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide clear recommendations for compliance improvements.
/li liCertifications or professional membership in relevant bodies (e.g., IWCF,



Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), CE marking expert) is a plus.

/li /ul h3Compensation Data /h3 pThe salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with bCCNL RINA /b (CNEL code I480).
The gross annual salary range foreseen is between b€35,000 and €45,000 /b and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role.
In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements.
The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
