ph3Job Summary /h3 pWe are looking for new technicians (independent contractors) to supply our clients with technical services such as the installation and the maintenance of their machines. We seek mobile, experienced, and autonomous people with a strong technical background in Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM). /p h3Candidate Requirements /h3 ul liMust have an expert level understanding on blow molding technology, i.e., Graham Wheels, Bekum, Uniloy, RB, etc. /li liExperience should include intermediate electrical and processing controls, advanced mechanical and troubleshooting abilities. /li liMust be experienced with pneumatics circuits, mechanical drive systems, hydraulics circuits, and light electrical experience. /li liAbility to manage and lead extrusion blow molding machine maintenance and overhauls. /li liExperience with material handling equipment, including blenders, drivers, and color dosing. /li liGood interpersonal, communication, and writing skills. /li liMust be able to provide support/training on mold changeovers. /li liMust have a laptop, and be proficient on/with email, Microsoft products, i.e., word, excel, pdf, etc. /li liDetailed mechanical diagnostic analysis of EBM equipment. /li liDevelopment of preventative and predictive maintenance systems for plant operations. /li liParts list, cost, and timeline to complete repair / overhaul of the detailed diagnostic analysis. /li liProvide hands on assistance in the completion of events surrounding the diagnostic analysis. /li liTroubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues related to plant operations equipment. /li liIdentification and interaction with vendors specifically to replace or improve the reliability of OEM equipment utilized by the operations and maintenance team.



/li liProvide directive on Preventive / Predictive maintenance plans to achieve optimal operational reliability, to include scheduling. /li liProvide on-site, scheduled training on all EBM related equipment, preventive, and predictive maintenance. /li liProvide phone support for the plant operations team to assist in troubleshooting / repair of equipment. /li liProvide on-site after-hours support for the plant operations team to assist in troubleshooting / repair of equipment. /li liExecutes overhauls, rebuilds and major PMs with the assistance of the plant technicians. /li liDevelopment of training materials and work instructions to facilitate consistent application of Best Practices. /li liMust be willing to travel at least 75% Travel to provide project support to various customer plants. /li liTravel to provide emergency support when it is requested. /li liWork overtime as needed to complete assigned tasks. /li /ul pThis is to be used as a guideline for the Blow Mold Technician in planning their day-to-day activities. The above noted duties are not all inclusive. /p h3Candidate Education And/or Experience Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum High School graduate. /li liTrade certification in a Mechanical Field preferred. /li liMinimum 5-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and practical experience. /li /ul h3Technical Knowledge Skills /h3 ul liAdherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.



/li liCompliant with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) policies and procedures. /li liSupplies own tools sufficient to perform maintenance tasks in the disciplines of the scope needed to perform assigned duties. /li liThis includes basic electrical test tools, industrial hand tools, air tools, hand tools, plumbing tools, welding tools, and specialty tools needed for specific job tasks in blow molding, and mold repair / maintenance. /li liAbility to read pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical schematics. /li liAbility to troubleshoot and repair low voltage (12 v DC) – high voltage (480 v AC 3 Phase) electrical systems. /li liExtensive knowledge of extrusion blow molding equipment. /li liExtensive knowledge of the basic principles of extrusion blow molding theory and operations. /li liExperience in leading/completing major overhauls on EBM machines. /li liStrong mechanical skills. /li liAbility to recognize and understand numbers and values related to job functions. /li liAbility to visually and mentally make priority decisions / judgement calls based on the situation at hand. /li liProficient hand / eye coordination to operate equipment and assemble packaging for shipment. /li liAbility to speak, read, and write English in order to communicate with co-workers and vendors, read work instructions, job procedures and manuals, and document information. /li liAbility to efficiently and effectively use a computer and related software related to record keeping and machine troubleshooting / maintenance. /li /ul h3Important /h3 ul liMUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL. /li liMUST BE WILLING TO BECOME INDEPENDENT IF CURRENTLY EMPLOYED. /li liDriver’s license is mandatory. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
