ph3Descrizione dell’offerta di lavoro /h3pWe are currently looking for an Field Service Engineer – Switchgear to join our team in Milan, Italy! /ph3POSITION SUMMARY /h3pFollowing the acquisition of the successful EI Switchgear Business by Vertiv there is an opportunity to integrate the Switchgear Service offering from EI into the wider Vertiv service business. /ppLe seguenti informazioni hanno lo scopo di fornire ai potenziali candidati una migliore comprensione dei requisiti per questo ruolo. /ppIn order to meet the demand of customers for the installation and servicing of this offering, we are recruiting experienced Field Service Engineers to provide consistent quality and support to customers across the region. /ph3RESPONSIBILITIES /h3ulliAssist Delivery of project site works on LV switchgear panels /liliInstallation, commission, test and handover to client over multiple projects. /liliAssist in the completion of preventive maintenance tasks for all aspects of LV switchgear panels. /liliPreparation of all tools, test equipment and site documentation for project/maintenance activities. /liliLiaise with department internal procurement for any additional material requirements/manufacturing needs to close out snag lists. /liliCompletion of site related paperwork, ensuring documentation is signed off by all relevant parties and uploaded to client portals in a timely manner. /liliResponsibility for safe working practices on-site and ensuring all relevant HSE procedures are adhered to. /liliBe willing to undertake varying levels of security clearance criminal record checking for customer sites that have enhanced security procedures. /liliAttend customer sites across a defined geographical area. /liliFully participate in an on-call rota (as defined locally). /li /ulh3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /h3ulliMinimum 3+ years' experience in a site / client facing role. /liliRecognised qualification in a technical discipline. /liliExperience with dealing with clients/customers in a professional manner. /liliFamiliar with all aspects of electrical panel testing fault finding.



/liliUnderstanding of LV Switchgear and Protection devices. /liliGood understanding of safe isolation and electrical safety. /liliFamiliar with maintaining accurate and detailed completion of test documentation. /liliExperience with Client Factory Acceptance Tests / Site Acceptance Tests. /liliExcellent communicator. /liliFully flexible to work additional hours on request. /liliThis is a site-based role and majority of work time will be based on-site or travelling. /liliFull driving license. /liliElectrical Engineering Background. /liliCompetency in primary secondary injection testing. /liliCompetency in flash testing. /liliKnowledge of PC Software. /liliWorking knowledge of Electrical Drawings/Control Systems. /liliExperience in Troubleshooting. /liliElectrical Trade background would be advantageous. /liliExperience in working within an electrical service environment. /li /ulh3WORKING CONDITIONS /h3ulliA significant amount of after hours and weekend work, frequently scheduled with little notice. /liliTravel on a daily basis to and from customer sites. /liliWill be required to stay away from home or travel long distances. /liliOccasional heavy lifting required. /liliYou will be expected to operate as part of a team. /liliParticipate on the 24/7 on call rota. /liliMay be required to travel abroad from time to time. /liliYou will be supplied with a Company uniform, which must be warn at all times while working. /li /ulpThe anticipated salary range for this role in Milan Italy is between 32,449 Euros to 40,561 Euros gross per year (based on a full-time working week). /ppCertain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. /ppWhere applicable,
