We are looking for an experienced SAP EDI Technical Consultant to join an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program. The consultant will be responsible for EDI and interface-related topics within the Service Stream, ensuring reliable data exchange between SAP S/4HANA and surrounding applications, including IFS, ServiceNow and a Service Technician application.

The business processes cover Service/Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing. Strong SAP EDI/IDoc expertise is required, while SAP SD experience would be highly beneficial.

What You'll Be Doing

- Design, configure, implement and support SAP EDI/IDoc integrations.
- Manage inbound and outbound IDoc processing.




- Configure and troubleshoot partner profiles, message types, process codes, ports and related EDI components.
- Support interfaces between SAP S/4HANA, IFS and other applications within the Service landscape.
- Analyze interface failures and perform root-cause analysis.
- Support EDI processes related to orders, shipping, deliveries, billing and invoicing.
- Collaborate with SAP SD, Service Management, integration and development teams.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical EDI solutions.
- Support integration testing, migration, cutover and go-live activities.
- Participate in solution design and Explore workshops.
- Contribute to interface standardization and future international S/4HANA rollouts.
- Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the product team.

What You'll Bring Along

- Minimum 4-7 years experience developing and hands-on experience with SAP EDI
- Strong knowledge of: IDoc processing, Partner Profiles, Message Types, Process Codes, Ports, Inbound/Outbound processing, Interface monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and rollout programs.
- Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP applications.
- Understanding of EDI standards/formats such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12 and XML.
- SAP SD experience, particularly Order-to-Cash, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work across technical and functional teams.
- Professional proficiency in English or German is required.
