Itech is seeking a detail-oriented and technically solid Junior Frontend Developer to join its software engineering team in Milan.

The role is transversal in nature: the candidate will contribute across multiple flagship projects, building responsive, performant, and visually refined user interfaces that bring Institute Itech's technological platforms to life. The selected candidate will work alongside senior developers, UX designers, and backend engineers, developing modern frontend applications using React and Next.js in a collaborative, research-driven environment. Frontend

Development & UI Implementation Develop responsive and performant user interfaces using React and Next.js Translate UX/UI designs into clean, maintainable, and accessible frontend code Implement reusable components and contribute to the development and maintenance of shared design systems Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all delivered interfaces Integration & Collaboration Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services developed by the engineering team Collaborate closely with backend developers, UX designers, and project managers to ensure technical and design coherence Participate in code reviews, technical planning sessions, and sprint cycles Optimize frontend performance through best practices in rendering, lazy loading, and state management Write clean, well-documented, and testable code in line with Institute Itech's engineering standards Identify and resolve UI bugs and inconsistencies across devices and platforms Cross-Project Technical Contribution Collaborate with engineering and research teams across projects including MemoriaTM, PolarisTM, OxyleafTM, BalloonTM, and BiocityTM Contribute frontend expertise during the design and implementation phases of concurrent projects Support the delivery of data visualization interfaces, monitoring dashboards, and interactive platforms Contribute to component libraries, internal wikis, and onboarding materials Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent practical formation)
