Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based in Rome. The Barista prepares and serves specialty coffee and other beverages, maintains high standards of drink quality, and manages food preparation for pastries or light bites as needed. The role includes welcoming guests, taking orders, handling payments, and providing attentive, friendly customer service that reflects our focus on sensory, place-rooted hospitality.

The Barista keeps the café area clean and organized, restocks supplies, and follows health and safety guidelines. Collaboration with colleagues to support smooth service, contribute to a warm atmosphere, and uphold the brand’s standards is a key part of day-to-day work.

Qualifications

- Barista skills, including espresso preparation, drink crafting, and basic coffee equipment care




- Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to create welcoming, attentive guest experiences
- Strong Communication skills for clear, courteous interaction with guests and colleagues
- Food Preparation skills and attention to hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a collaborative approach to working with a small team
- Previous café, bar, or hospitality experience preferred
- Comfort working in an international environment
- Italian and English language skills are an advantage
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- The stamina and composure to perform well during busy services
- Reliability, punctuality, organisation, and a collaborative approach

Nice to have

- Experience in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or fine-dining environment
- Cocktail and bar-service experience
- Experience in a high-volume service environment
- Additional languages
