Consultant (Life Sciences IT Solutions) About the Role

ProductLife Group (PLG) is looking for a Consultant to join its Life Sciences Technology Solutions team. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation, customization, integration, and support of software applications used within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the customization and integration of market-leading software solutions for Life Sciences clients.
- Manage Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, and Changes in compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ITIL best practices.
- Analyze customer requests and incidents, identify technical resolutions, organize troubleshooting activities, and escalate issues when required.
- Provide technical and application support through collaboration with internal teams and external software vendors.
- Monitor, document, and report project and support activities internally and to clients.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and system performance.
- Participate in software implementation, validation, and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline such as:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Physics




- Related scientific or technical field

Required Experience
- 0 to 3 years of professional experience in IT, software support, consulting, or related technical environments.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of IT architectures and system integrations.
- Knowledge of coding and scripting concepts.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL programming.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Languages
- Fluent English.
- Fluent Italian (mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications The following skills and experience would be considered an asset:
- Knowledge of application development platforms such as Salesforce.
- Programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical industry information systems, including:
- MES/EBR
- LIMS
- QMS
- TMS
- BPM
- Workflow Management Systems
- Document Management Systems
- Business Analytics Platforms

- Familiarity with Life Sciences regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts.
- Previous exposure to pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments.
