PURPOSE: Mavel Edt has started a process of reorganization and international expansion that provides for the development of the Group.
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer with strong AUTOSAR and OBDII diagnostics experience to support advanced automotive ECU software development for EU and US market requirements: a pragmatic, autonomous engineer able to translate demanding diagnostic requirements into robust, testable and well-documented embedded software.
About the role
The role will contribute to the development, configuration and validation of diagnostic software features in a complex automotive embedded environment, working closely with software, system engineering and validation teams.
Key responsibilities
· Analyze and implement OBDII diagnostic requirements for automotive embedded applications.
· Develop and configure diagnostic software in an AUTOSAR Classic environment.
· Support DTC management, fault handling,



diagnostic services and communication-related diagnostic functions.
· Collaborate with software, systems and validation teams to ensure full traceability from requirements to implementation and test results.
· Support debugging, issue analysis and technical documentation for diagnostic features.
Required skills and experience
· Proven experience in embedded software development for automotive applications.
· Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic.
· Specific experience with OBDII / automotive diagnostics.
· Knowledge of DTCs, fault management, diagnostic services and embedded C.
· Experience with communication protocol like CAN, LIN and UDS on CAN, ARXML schema description and automotive software development processes.
· Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to conduct weekly meetings and interact effectively with international stakeholders.
Nice to have
· Experience with inverter, e-motor control
