Job Description Wood is looking for a newly Machinery & Package Engineer- Graduate, to join its Projects business line focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. Responsibilities The key objectives for this role are:
- Supporting engineering disciplines with preliminary information:
- pre-selection of equipment and evaluation of their performances
- preliminary size estimate of equipment
- preliminary utilities consumption estimate
- Preparation of equipment/package material requisition and mechanical data sheets, for enquiry
- Technical evaluations and conditioning of Supplier’s quotations:
- review and check vendor’s proposal for compliance with all specifications and requirements
- prepare list of questions/clarifications to vendors
- attend technical clarification meeting(s) with potential vendor(s) and issue notes of meeting
- prepare bid tabulation and technical evaluatio
