ABOUT THE ROLE – Electrical Engineer
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join an important Oil & Gas project.
Reporting to the Jacket Engineering Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for Oil & Gas facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, project specifications and safety requirements throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering
Review and contribute to the design of electrical power distribution systems, including LV, MV and HV systems.
Review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load lists, cable schedules, grounding and lighting layouts.
Review electrical equipment selection, including transformers, switchgear,



MCCs, UPS, batteries and motors.
Support electrical system studies such as load flow, short circuit, arc flash and protection coordination.
Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, including IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA and ATEX.

Project Execution & Procurement
Review vendor documentation and technical specifications.
Prepare Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs) and equipment datasheets.
Interface with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other disciplines.
Support technical clarification and coordination activities with vendors and suppliers.

Construction & Commissioning
Supervise electrical installation activities and verify compliance with approved designs and project standards.
Support inspection, testing and pre-commissioning of electrical equipment.
