Novella Editorial is building a curated directory of freelance graphic designers, and we're looking for talented designers to join our network.

We work with authors, organisations, and publishers on a range of editorial projects, and we're looking to build a network of reliable designers whose work we can recommend to clients.

We're currently looking for a graphic designer for an immediate project, while also building our directory for future opportunities.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a designer who can provide a quote for the following:

Typesetting one flyer – approximately 1,200 words;
Typesetting a two-page Executive Summary;
Designing double-sided pledge/commitment cards;
Typesetting and designing the cover of one report – approximately 20,000 words.

A style guide will be provided for all outputs, so the ability to work accurately within established visual guidelines is essential.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We're looking for someone who:
Has strong experience in editorial, print, or publication design;




Is highly proficient in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator;
Has excellent attention to detail and a good eye for typography and layout;
Is comfortable working from an existing style guide;
Has a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work;
Has excellent written English – knowledge of Spanish and/or Italian is also welcome;
Is reliable, responsive, and comfortable working remotely;
Is available to start immediately.
