THE MISSION
We are looking for a Junior Legal Counsel for a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Inside the Legal Department, your role will be providing support to the Team regarding the legal aspects of the business, the internal processes of the Company and the Group, with a focus on regulatory matters and complaint handling.
This role is based in Milan where we will expect to see you at the office three days per week, as per our lavoro da remoto policy.

YOU WILL :

Support the management of customer complaints,



both through internal procedures and in proceedings before the Italian Banking and Financial Ombudsman (ABF), preparing legal assessments and draft responses under the supervision of the Complaints Officer.
Provide legal support to the Company and the Group on regulatory matters, with a particular focus on payment services, consumer credit, consumer protection, contract law and other legislation relevant to the business.
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, escalating complex or material matters to senior members of the Legal Team.
Prepare internal legal memoranda, opinions and practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
Conduct independent legal research on legislation, regulatory guidance, case law and legal scholarship, translating findings into actionable advice.
