Environmental/ Energy Manager EEM Location: NAS Sigonella Scope: Ensures compliance with environmental, energy, and sustainability requirements. Responsibilities Implements the Environmental Management System (EMS). Develops and enforces compliance with the Installation Energy Plan. Conducts environmental audits, inspections, and spill drills. Ensures compliance with Italian, DoD, and U.Oversees waste reduction, recycling, and pollution prevention programs. Tracks energy usage and provides recommendations for reduction and optimization. Educates workforce on environmental stewardship and energy conservation. Mandatory Experience & Certifications Minimum two years of experience in environmental procedures comparable to contract requirements. Familiarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMS). Knowledge of environmental regulations, federal energy laws, and policies. Preferred / Desirable Certifications ISO 14001 Environmental Management certification. Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
