He will collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide, contributing to groundbreaking projects with career opportunities within a truly global organization.The hired person will be involved in Finance and Accounting activities for the French entities of the Avnet Group. Our new team member will be someone with proven experience in finance, asset, and payment processes. SAP experience is considered an advantage.What You'll Be Doing:Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the companiesOverview the automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, APNon-Trade Accounts payables, prime entriesCash management and reporting, support payment preparation.Maintain and reviewing financial records, including Fixed Assets Ledger, payroll postings, month end closing accrualsIntercompany and bank reconciliation.Ensure the integrity of accounting information by verifying and recording transactionsGeneral accounting, VAT return, in liaison with local tax and legal consultants ensuring correct calculation of monthly VAT and correct calculation of the taxable income; VAT reports, Journal Book, and other indirect tax returns.Interact directly with the auditors to discuss and resolve accounting issues in a timely mannerMaintain strong knowledge of accounting and finance practicesContinuous improvement of processes and controls.Support on ad hoc projectsEnhancing the tools and processes.The Ideal Person:Proven experience in a Finance and Accounting rolesFluent in English, Italian,



and French.Minimum of 4 years of experience in general and tax accounting.Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.High attention to detail and accuracy, reliability, and curiosityStrong problem-solving skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and verbal as well as written communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of excel and SAP.Familiarity with French Gaap and French laws and regulations will be considered an advantage.
