Specific duties of the researcher (job description):

- a. The required teaching activity (according to the annual teaching needs) must be carried out in Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree programs and will concern the scientific field IEGE-01/A, with a focus on business economics and organisation; the economics and management of innovation and entrepreneurship; internationalisation; sustainability and the environmental transition; the design and management of complex organisational processes and systems; and supply chain management.



The teaching activities willl be aimed at providing students with multidisciplinary scientific and professional education.
- b. In line with the scientific interests and research activities currently pursued at the host institution, the researcher shall conduct internationally relevant scientific research in the following areas: business management; entrepreneurship; economics and management of innovation; management of complex organisational processes and systems; sustainability management; and supply network management.
- c. The researcher will be required to conduct analyses based on rigorous research methodologies, including modelling, design-oriented and systems-based approaches. The analysis, understanding and resolution of complex problems shall be characterised by an interdisciplinary perspective. The research shall integrate the development of theoretical models with qualitative and quantitative empirical validation.

Method of ascertaining the degree of knowledge of English: The evaluation will be conducted on the basis of the scientific papers written in English. The Evaluation Committee may also decide to resort to a colloquium.
