Academic Discipline: MATH-02/B - Geometry

Specific duties of the researcher (job description):

- The required teaching activity concerns the courses for the Bachelor, Master and PhD degrees related to the scientific disciplines belonging to the scientific discipline MATH-02/B according to the didactic needs. This didactic commitment should be particularly oriented towards the multidisciplinary scientific training of the students.




- The open position is dedicated to a candidate who will have to carry out scientific research activities at international level in topics concerning the scientific discipline MATH-02/B, with regard to the scientific interests and research activities taking place at the department. The researcher is expected to carry out research on Combinatorial Geometry with particular attention to geometric structures defined over finite fields and their applications to error corrector coding theory.
- The candidate shall demonstrate the ability to interact with other disciplines of mathematics and engineering and to develop multidisciplinary research even in international collaborations.

Salary and Benefits: According to the current regulations.

Maximum Number of publications to be submitted for the evaluation: 12 (twelve)

Method of ascertaining the degree of knowledge of English: The evaluation will be conducted on the basis of the scientific papers written in English. The Evaluation Committee may also decide to resort to a colloquium.
