Job Summary

We are looking for a NATIVE LEVEL ENGLISH TEACHER: QUALIFIED, EXPERIENCED AND HIGHLY MOTIVATED to join our school.

Little Paddy's is a well-established English school, authorized Cambridge Preparation Centre with more than 15 years experience. The school is in the city center of Ragusa, in the beautiful island of Sicily, south of Italy. Ragusa city is an UNESCO World Heritage site, well known for its Baroque architecture, closeness to beautiful beaches, great food and warm weather all year round.

We teach children, teens and adults at all levels, from A1-C2.

Our commitment to the students is to deliver high quality English tuition at all times and help them achieve the Cambridge Certifications with best results. We strive to work with professionalism and enthusiasm.

We work MONDAY-SATURDAY.

We offer support to teachers as an initial induction and ongoing training and support throughout the year.

We are looking for a NATIVE LEVEL ENGLISH TEACHER (EU citizenship/working permit) who is friendly, flexible, professional and energetic and is able to successfully work with students of different ages and levels.

At this time we are not able to offer support with visa requests.





We offer a full-time job contract from the 1st of October 2026 to mid June 2027 with the possibility of renewal. The teacher will receive an Italian employment contract, subsidized accommodation, paid holidays and ongoing training and support.

We adhere to the Italian government regulations in relation to Covid-19 prevention and we have created a safe environment for both staff and students.

Qualifications

- NATIVE LEVEL ENGLISH SPEAKER
- UNIVERSITY DEGREE
- TEACHING QUALIFICATION (TEFL, CELTA OR TEACHING DEGREE)
- 2 YEARS TEACHING EXPERIENCE
- POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE
- PERMISSION TO WORK IN THE EU: EU passport, permit to work in Italy or Italian residency or a student/work visa for Italy.
- EXPERIENCE WITH CAMBRIDGE EXAMS PREPARATION

Salary and Benefits

From €1,000 / month (net)

≈ £856 / $1,167
