HSE Advisor

Our client is a leading international main contractor specialising in the delivery of hyperscale data centres and mission-critical infrastructure across Europe. They are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join the delivery team on a major hyperscale data centre project in Milan.

Working alongside the project leadership team, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, and supporting the safe delivery of complex construction activities from construction through to commissioning.

Responsibilities

-

- Support the implementation and continual improvement of the project's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

- Promote a proactive health and safety culture across all site activities.

- Conduct site inspections, audits and safety tours to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.





- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and relevant legislation.

- Review and monitor RAMS, permits to work and safe systems of work.

- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions where required.

- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and health & safety briefings.

- Monitor subcontractor compliance and provide practical HSE guidance to site teams.

- Maintain HSE records, reports and project documentation.

- Liaise with clients, subcontractors and regulatory bodies on HSE matters.

Requirements

-

- Previous experience as an HSE Advisor, Health & Safety Advisor or similar within construction.

- Experience on data centre, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or major construction projects.

- NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).

- IOSH membership (Tech IOSH/Grad IOSH desirable).

- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation.

- Excellent communication, organisational and reporting skills.

- Confident carrying out inspections, audits and incident investigations.

- Full driving licence where required. xysqume
