Primary Purpose

The Principal Software Engineer serves as a senior technical expert who designs and builds highly complex software solutions while shaping engineering standards and guiding teams across products and platforms.

Serves as the hands-on integration engineering lead for ADUSA’s SAP transformation program, defining, designing, and delivering enterprise integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP platforms. Partners closely with the system integrator and internal architecture teams to establish a scalable integration foundation using SAP Integration Suite (BTP), MuleSoft, other ETL and data integration tools, APIs, orchestration, and event-driven patterns.





*Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office location for this role is Salisbury, NC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support enterprise grade software solutions.
- Lead analysis, design, and code reviews for major application components.
- Develop high quality, production-ready code and robust automated tests.
- Support upgrade planning, modernization, and management of technical debt.
- Implement automation strategies and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps maturity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs.
- Monitor application performance and address issues with root-cause analysis.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative improvements.
