Our client, an international insurance and reinsurance company, is looking for an IT Project & Business Relationship Manager for a one-year contract in Milan, Italy. You will be responsible for managing complex IT projects and serving as the point of contact between the business and stakeholders in Italy and other regions. The IT Project Manager / BRM ensures alignment between IT initiatives and business objectives, driving successful project outcomes while enhancing collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
Perform day-to-day management of all project phases to ensure deliverables are completed on time and on budget. Coordinate project activities with IT project team members and business owners/stakeholders. Create, manage, and update project charters, schedules, risk management plans, communication plans, project budgets, gate reviews, and other project management documentation.




Work with project team members and management to secure resources and funding.
Coordinate with project stakeholders to define project scopes and schedules. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and data sources. Translate these needs into documented requirements and functional specifications with business analysts and architects.
Communicate with executive leadership to provide project risk analysis, status, and requirements that may impact strategic direction.
Ensure that projects comply with audit requirements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, acting as the primary IT contact for business teams in Italy and other European countries.
Assist business leaders in formalizing and managing IT demand, prioritizing technology projects and lesser demands. Ensure solutions support strategic and tactical objectives.
