SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects. /p /brh3Purpose of the position: /h3 /brpAs 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor, you will be part of the Asset Based Services BL (ABSER) within the Offshore Operations Department. /p /brh3How can you support us? /h3 /brul /brliCoordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift in compliance with Project specification, in order to ensure efficient performance and respecting HSE and Quality procedures and practices /li /brliAssist the Offshore Construction Manager with regard to interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board /li /brliSupervise the team of foremen and supervisors, with regard to the various disciplines/categories of construction and assembly work,
in order to comply with the quality and safety standard /li /brliCoordinate the construction activities during the shift and optimise all production phases /li /brliEnsure that the Offshore Construction Manager is kept fully informed of potential problems and construction status /li /brliLiaise with Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer and Vessel Equipment Engineer in order to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities /li /brliLiaise with subcontractors' supervisors to optimize production /li /brliSolve matters related to coordination, priority and interface between the different disciplines in order to meet the scopes of the project /li /brliEnsure that the Permit-to-Work system for construction crew is adhered to and ensures that the daily Tool Box Talks and JSA, if required, are carried out according to the procedures /li /brliMotivate all construction crew/subcontractors with regards to health, safety and environment awareness /li /brliEnsure the compliance with the standards dictated by Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures, in order to perform the activities in a safe manner /li /brliReport incidents and near‑miss events /li /brliManage the Crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements on board, ROV launching and underwater operations /li /brliAssist marine operations if required /li /brliProvide a construction report at the end of each shift /li /brliAssist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow up of project equipment and consumable, operation and monitoring of the stinger and JLT /li /brliEnsure the rigging gear used is within date and properly marked /li /br /ul /brh3What are we looking for? /h3 /brul /brlibEducation:
