ph3Overview /h3pOur client who is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to clients They specialise in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning. /ppThey have grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector and the only dedicated data centre delivery partner in Europe. /ppThey are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight. /ppThe Electrical Engineer will work with a team of electrical sub-contractors as they assist with designing, development and electrical installation within a large electrical system in keeping with project programmes /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliEnsure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System /liliManage, review and coordinate drawings, as requested /liliAdvise and guide the sub-contracted staff on all technical aspects of the project /liliPrioritise and allocate the work for the staff on the technical team /liliEnsure sub-contractor compliance with all site and project requirements,



including operational health and safety obligations /liliApply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions /liliManage document control to ensure all logs are kept up to date /liliCreate handover packs and test packs for systems /li /ulpEnsuring that all matters of compliance and governance are identified and adhered to, including: /pulliHealth Safety issues on site and ensuring that all Sub Contractors are working in a safe manner. /liliReview ways of working and where possible implement changes to improve safety. /liliEnsuring housekeeping is kept to a high standard by all Sub Contactors. /liliComplete weekly 'don't walk by' cards. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications and Competencies: /h3ulliRelevant Electrical Qualification essential e.g. Masters or Bachelor's degree in engineering /liliHNC/ HND qualifications are preferred /lili5+ years of previous experience in a similar role, within a mechanical and electrical contracting environment is essential /liliData Centre experience is advantageous /liliExcellent organizational, communication and time management skills /liliProficiency in the use of MS Word Excel is required. /li /ulpewi is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer. ewi is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
