Since its opening in 1939, Rosa Alpina has offered its guests an unparalleled base for exploring Italy's UNESCO-protected Dolomites, celebrating the history of the property while uniting it with Aman's philosophy. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3h3Procurement Purchasing /h3ulliSource, evaluate, and select suppliers for beverage, operating supplies, equipment, and services. /liliObtain quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. /liliProcess purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. /liliEnsure all purchases comply with hotel procurement policies and approved budgets. /liliMonitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. /li /ulh3Inventory Management /h3ulliCoordinate with stores and department heads to maintain optimal inventory levels. /liliMonitor stock movement and prevent shortages or overstocking. /liliConduct regular inventory audits and assist with monthly stock counts. /liliEnsure proper storage and inventory control procedures are followed. /li /ulh3Supplier Management /h3ulliBuild and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors. /liliEvaluate supplier performance based on quality, service, pricing, and delivery. /liliResolve issues related to product quality, shortages, and delivery delays. /liliMaintain an updated vendor database and supplier contracts. /li /ulh3Cost Control Compliance /h3ulliSupport cost control initiatives to achieve departmental and hotel financial objectives. /liliCompare prices and recommend alternative products or suppliers when appropriate. /liliEnsure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations. /liliMaintain accurate purchasing records and documentation for audit purposes. /li /ulh3Reporting /h3ulliPrepare purchasing and inventory reports for management. /liliAnalyze purchasing trends,



spending patterns, and supplier performance. /liliAssist in budget preparation and forecasting activities. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Management engineering, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. /liliMinimum 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry. /liliPrevious supervisory experience preferred. /liliStrong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory control, and supplier management. /liliLegal authorization to work in Italy. /li /ulh3Skills Competencies /h3ulliExcellent negotiation and communication skills. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /liliKnowledge of inventory management systems and ERP software, Birchstreet is preferable. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. /liliStrong organizational and time-management skills. /liliAttention to detail and accuracy. /liliAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines. /liliStrong leadership and team management capabilities. /li /ulh3Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /h3ulliPurchase cost savings achieved. /liliSupplier delivery performance. /liliInventory accuracy and stock turnover. /liliReduction in stock shortages and excess inventory. /liliCompliance with procurement policies and audit requirements. /liliTimeliness of purchase order processing. /liliSupplier quality and service ratings.
