Job ID: electrical-engineer-data-centre-milan-italy-01Posted: 2026-06-26Location: -, ItalySalary: GBP 80,000 - 90,000 + Accommodation, Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, Overseas allowanceEmployment Type: PermanentCompany: LJB & CoElectrical Engineer – Data Centre – Milan, ItalyWe are currently partnering with a leading European data centre delivery specialist, recognised for providing fully integrated, turnkey solutions across complex, high-value projects.With a strong engineering-led culture and a growing portfolio of hyperscale developments, they are now seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team on a flagship project based in Milan.This is an opportunity to work on a technically demanding build within a fast-paced, high-performance environment, offering strong long-term prospects and exposure to industry-leading standards.Key Responsibilities• Technical Review & Engineering SupportReview electrical designs, specifications, and technical submittals, providing on-site engineering support and ensuring installations align with project requirements and client expectations.• Site Inspections & Quality AssuranceConduct regular inspections across LV/MV systems, containment, cabling, switchgear, UPS, and generators,



ensuring works meet QA/QC standards and comply with Italian and European regulations.• Testing & CommissioningSupport and witness testing and commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are installed, energised, and validated safely in line with commissioning programmes.• Coordination & Interface ManagementWork closely with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, and commissioning) to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth coordination across all project interfaces.• Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate technical records including inspection reports, red-line drawings, and test documentation, ensuring full compliance and readiness for audits and final handover.Requirements• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centre environments• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline (or equivalent trade background)• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across site teams and stakeholders• Must have EU Passport or RTW in ItalyPackage• 80,000 – 90,000• Accommodation provided• Rotation• Flights & travel covered• Healthcare & pension• 160 net weekly overseas allowance
