In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our extensive gardens and landscaped grounds, ensuring they remain a stunning showcase of tropical beauty. You will oversee all horticultural operations, manage plant health and wellbeing, and contribute to the resort's commitment to environmental sustainability and aesthetic excellence. /p ul liCultivate, propagate, and maintain a diverse range of tropical and subtropical plants, flowers, and trees /li liDesign, plan, and implement landscape projects that enhance the resort's natural environment and guest experience /li liMonitor plant health, diagnose and treat diseases, pests, and nutritional deficiencies using both conventional and organic methods /li liManage irrigation systems and water conservation practices to ensure optimal plant growth whilst maintaining environmental responsibility /li liConduct soil analysis and implement appropriate soil amendments and fertilisation programmes /li liOversee the maintenance of garden beds, pathways, water features, and landscaped areas to the highest standards /li liSupervise and train horticultural staff,



ensuring adherence to best practices and health and safety protocols /li liMaintain detailed records of plant inventory, maintenance schedules, and horticultural activities /li liCollaborate with resort management and other departments to align horticultural projects with organisational objectives /li liImplement sustainable and organic gardening practices to minimise environmental impact /li liManage horticultural budgets and procurement of plants, materials, and equipment /li liEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExtensive knowledge of tropical and subtropical plant species, particularly those suited to island climates /li liProven experience in garden design, landscape management, and horticultural maintenance /li liStrong understanding of plant propagation, cultivation techniques, and soil science /li liDemonstrated expertise in pest and disease management using integrated pest management principles /li liProficiency in irrigation system operation and maintenance /li liExperience in supervising and training horticultural teams /li liKnowledge of sustainable and organic gardening practices /li liFamiliarity with horticultural tools, equipment,
