/ppbLocation: /b Italy (Bologna area preferred or occasional travel to Bologna) /ppWe are looking for a Data Analyst to work closely with clients and internal teams to understand business needs, analyze data, define data mappings, and ensure the accuracy and quality of data within the Data Warehouse environment.
/ppResponsibilities: /pulliLead discussions with clients to understand their goals and translate them into data requirements.
/liliAnalyze business requirements and define data mapping from source systems to the Data Warehouse (DWH).
/liliPresent data analysis insights and explain complex data structures to clients in a clear and understandable way.
/liliPerform data profiling, exploratory analysis, and data validation to ensure data correctness.
/liliDefine and maintain business logic, KPIs, and data definitions.
/liliInvestigate data anomalies and collaborate with Data Engineers on issue resolution.
/liliServe as the primary point of contact between clients and the technical DWH team.
/liliMentor other team members and ensure high standards of data analysis and data mapping.
/liliProactively propose data-driven solutions and improvements to clients' business processes.
/li /ulpRequired Skills Experience: /pulli5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, DWH Analyst, or similar role.
/liliProven experience leading client discussions and translating business goals into data requirements.
/liliStrong experience in business requirements analysis and data mapping from source systems to Data Warehouses.
/liliHands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and T-SQL.
/liliExperience performing data profiling, exploratory analysis, and data validation to ensure data correctness.
/liliExperience defining and maintaining business logic, KPIs, and data definitions.
/liliAbility to investigate data anomalies and work closely with Data Engineers to resolve data issues.
/liliStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex data structures to both business and technical audiences.
/liliExperience serving as the key point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams.
/liliExperience mentoring team members and promoting best practices in data analysis and data mapping.
/liliProactive, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
/liliFluent Italian language skills are required.
/liliBased in Italy, preferably in the Bologna area, or willing to travel to Bologna occasionally.
