Visit our Careers website to learn more. /p pAs a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) at Applied Materials, you serve as the direct liaison with customers, collaborating closely to install, maintain, and upgrade equipment. You'll use digital analytics for troubleshooting and apply basic diagnostic techniques to assess and address technical issues. Your responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various systems such as electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems. Additionally, you'll coordinate and communicate directly with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. /p pWe are looking for a Field Service Engineer,



who will support our customer and our team in Agrate Brianza (Monza, Italy), guaranteeing the best performance of Applied Materials' Equipment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liManagement of equipment performance and supply of spare parts /li liImplement and guarantee all levels of preventative and corrective maintenance within timelines /li liSupporting in Troubleshooting activities and fix technical issues on equipment. /li liDiagnoses and resolves hardware issues through understanding of software and process data as needed. /li liPerforms upgrades and retrofits on equipment. /li liEnsures that the team apply the correct procedures and checklist for maintenance both corrective and preventive /li liUnderstands and implement correct work methodologies and procedures as per company and customer quality standards. /li liAnticipates and responds to equipment issues and escalations in a timely manner /li liCollaborates and communicates with company stakeholders /li liParticipates in internal and customer meetings. /li liWithin assigned scope, assist management in operation of site service business. /li liAssists Applied Materials field management in establishing and achieving objectives for assigned account. /li liKeeps field management informed on customer perception of system performance. /li liTakes initiative to avoid and resolve customer problems. /li liMay occasionally initiate projects to drive down costs or increase uptime. /li liMay work in shift depending on assignment. /li liTravel flexibility is required.
