/ph3Job Summary /h3pVignate Plant is looking for an Industrial Controller with manufacturing experience who brings strong analytical capability and sound accounting fundamentals—someone who can move seamlessly between the discipline of accounting and the deeper analysis that drives smarter operational decisions.
This is a hands?on, high?impact role supporting manufacturing operations through cost and variance analysis (material, labor, and overhead), inventory and asset accounting, and month?end close activities.
Beyond execution, the role plays a key part in strengthening financial and costing processes, improving data integrity, and enhancing reporting and internal controls that help move the organization forward.
The successful candidate is both a doer and a thinker—comfortable in a plant?based environment, energized by change, and motivated by translating complex manufacturing data into clear, actionable insight.

/ppYou will be part of the Industrial Controlling team reporting to Vignate Plant Controller in a leading manufacturing facility that produces ETO Engineering-to-order solutions as well as MTO/MTS standard series products within EMEIA Compression Systems Services Business unit.
/ph3Responsibilities /h3pStandard costing /pulliMaterial standard cost definition, costing view creation for buy, make and subcontractor items.
/liliMaterial standard costing run, maintenance and update.
/liliPreparation and coordination of the annual costing run.
/liliMaterial enrichment Finance partner in SAP and Windchill.
/liliMaterial purchase price variances (PPV) analysis and reporting.
/liliMaterial standard cost burden rate analysis.
Standard cost burden/absorption components like DL (direct labour), FD (freight duties), OH (overhead) calculation and validation.
/li /ulpIndustrial cost controlling /pulliWork order costs review and validation for the production, remanufacturing and aftermarket units.
/liliValidation of material and production variances understanding the root cause and the corrective actions.
/liliReviewing of the transactions to insure proper impact on accounting records and product costs.
/liliAssists excess and obsolete inventory review.
/liliProactively seeks out ways to improve processes and accuracy and drive efficiency.
/liliSupports Operations and Business functions for accounting and costing issues.




/liliClose cooperation with the RTR/AP Regional Shares Service Centre located in another European country.
/liliOther adhoc requests, financial analysis, reports and Finance projects.
/li /ulpMonthly financial closure, Forecasting and Reporting /pulliMonthly BS and PL account reconciliations, journal entry postings, analysis and reporting.
/liliProvides insightful month end analytical reporting to deliver context and implications of the financial results, trends, risks and opportunities.
/liliInventory detailed reconciliation and analysis.
/liliSupports the preparation of the annual budget, quarterly, monthly, weekly forecasts.
/li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulli3+ years of strong proficiency in SAP FI CO is a must.
/lili3+ years of standard cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
/lili3+ years of experience performing product cost analysis and manufacturing variance analysis (material, labor, overhead, and hours).
/liliKnowledge of Italian accounting tax regulations and US GAAP.
/liliStrong numerical skills, analytical thinking, careful structured approach applying accounting acumen related to a manufacturing environment.
/liliUnderstanding of internal controls, experience with SOX processes.
/liliAbility to work effectively with cross?functional teams in a fast?paced environment.
/liliAdvanced levels of English and Italian languages.
