The position is based in Italy and it's open to our offices in Pistoia, Roma, Genova and Bologna.

/p h3Job Purpose /h3 pManage the technical contractual scope of the project and functionally lead the project engineering team.
/p h3Job duties (Responsibilities and Accountabilities) /h3 ul liManage the technical contractual scope of the project.
/li liBe accountable for the customer acceptance of the project solution, directly interfacing the customer technical reference for the project.
/li liManage the project technical risks and the corresponding mitigation plan.
/li liTogether with the Project Manager, in case of contractual scope evolution, rise variation order and manage the approval with the Change Control Board, using the appropriate procedures.
/li liValidate the technical design choices with the peers (Eg: VV Manager), the AE Technical Advisor and the Product Development (RD) Direction.
/li liIdentify which are the applicable regulations in the customer country and ensure they are taken into account in project solution design.
/li liDefine and manage the external and internal interfaces: between different Sub-Systems, within sub systems interfaced with signaling scope with Subcontractors, with Products and RD team.
/li liPerforms surveys on site and produce constraints for installation of equipment.




/li liBe accountable for delivering the scheme plan: this drawing summarizes the Signaling solution, and the associated layout of the equipment along the track.
/li liBe accountable for performing surveys on site and produce constraints for installation of equipment.
/li liManage the project solution, meaning the customization and parameterization of the generic solution to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Performance (QCDP) commitments.
/li liBuild and analyze, together with the System Engineer or the Technical Advisor, the project requirements database and allocate requirements to RD team, Project Engineering team and Industrialization team.
/li liAct as a chairman of Project Change Control Board (CCB) for the Project (to validate variations).
/li liOrganize the configuration management and the organization of transverse technical meetings for scope management: CCB, Configuration review, baselines definition.
/li liBe responsible of the project design and application engineering activities.
/li liBe accountable for Engineering tasks, Quality, Costs of Engineering and Delivery time.
/li liConsolidate and provide BoM/BoQ.
/li liFunctionally lead the project engineering team.
/li liAllocate Task(s) across Project Engineering team and ensure engineering activities regular follow?up.
/li liDeploy the applicable engineering process, methods tools on the project.
/li liPE is accountable for Project Delivery Sheet and verify that the relevant Project Safety Case is delivered in the planned time.
/li liManage the interface with the project core team: Provide all technical documents to the project core team members for the industrialization, sourcing, installation, test and commissioning (production BoQ, architecture schematics, ...).
/li liSupport actively the solution of the technical issues detected by different core team members.
/li liDuring project warranty,



coordinate actions to support resolution of pending technical issues following the Project Warranty requirements.
/li liSupport Project Quality Manager to consolidate the REX of the Project and the Reliability Growth in case of issues after the entering in commercial service.
/li liSupport AE Technical Advisor / AE Engineering Department Head to define/perform knowledge capitalization.
/li /ul h3Experience and Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's Degree in Engineering (electronic, electric, computer science, telecommunication) or equivalent experience.
/li liIT skills: MS Office suite; Autocad; MS Project; Windows O.S. as user.
/li liGood experience in Projects execution and Engineering team management.
/li liGood knowledge in Engineering Design methods and tools (system design and/or system modelling; requirements management; project planning; BoM/BoQ management).
/li liDecision making ability and troubleshooting skills.
/li liLanguage skills: Italian mother tongue (or equivalent).
/li liEnglish knowledge: B2 or equivalent.
/li liOthers: (French, Spanish, German......).
