/p pWithin the Digital HealthCare (DHC) Business Unit, the DHC IC design team combines ADI's signal processing capabilities with advanced sensor technologies and state-of-the-art packaging innovations to provide signal chain conditioning and processing for System-on-Chip, System-in-Package and module solutions to our Healthcare customers.
/p h3About The Role /h3 pThe DHC IC design team at ADI is seeking for a Principal Digital Design Engineer to join our growing team in Bari, Italy.
You will be able to work together with a global team, who have designed and introduced many successful products that won sockets from top OEM healthcare manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and the USA.
/p pWe, DHC IC design group, develop integrated circuits for products enabling next generation solutions for Disease Management, Patient Monitoring and Smart Hospital applications.
/p pAs a Principal Digital Design Engineer, you have proven capability to drive projects across multiple milestones through tape-out for the development of Application Specific Standard Product (ASSP), from early architecture discussions through hands-on design-in (IC and/or FPGA) and characterization support.
/p pThe successful candidate will work effectively within a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, leading the development of the digital part of new mixed-signal products with sustainability impact, and collaborating with internal technology groups and potential external technology vendors and/or research organization.
/p pProject and/or personnel leadership responsibilities may be assigned to highly qualified and motivated individuals.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liFind appropriate techniques to achieve project requirements.
/li liWork as digital lead on key projects, help define top level chip requirements.
/li liUsing recommended design and verification techniques, tools,
and flow to produce efficient designs which meet specified functional, power, and timing objectives.
/li liInteract and participate with a cross functional team including Product, Test, Marketing, and Application Engineers effectively importing/exporting information as needed for a successful execution of a product.
/li liMentor junior design engineers.
/li liDocument, present, and participate in project meetings.br/ /li /ul h3Must Have Skills /h3 ul liTechnical Strategy: Visionary capability to define and drive technical strategy for digital design; perform new digital design using RTL, System Verilog, Standard cells, or other approaches as necessary for both mixed signal ASSP and FPGA designs.
/li liInnovation Leadership: Exceptional ability to drive innovation in digital design approaches and solutions; /li liSoC Architecture: Authority in complex SoC architecture design and implementation; assist in defining ASSP architecture and design specifications.
/li liMulti-Domain Expertise: Specify and perform as necessary chip and block level verification and regressions; supervise (or perform) synthesis, timing analysis, and scan/ATPG; Work with product, apps, and test engineers to ensure design will meet performance and testability goals; silicon debug activities including testbench FPGA support; use up-to-date design verification techniques to ensure first silicon success.
/li liIndustry Thought Leadership: Recognized expertise with ability to influence industry direction.br/ /li /ul h3Minimum Qualification Experience /h3 ul liElectrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in mixed signal digital design.
/li liRTL to GDS2 track record of successful product developments.
/li liExperience with full chip verification, regressions, and mixed signal designs.
/li liCandidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects as required.
/li liStrong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required.br/ /li /ul h3Preferred Education And Experience /h3 ul liScripting languages (e.g. Python, Perl or Shell).
/li liMixed-Signal Verification methodology.

/p pThe pay range for this position in Italy is €69,300 to €100,350.
(base salary) /p ul liThis range may change if you are hired in another location.
The stated range may be inclusive of several levels within this role and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location.
Applicants interested in this role who are not located in the primary location may request the applicable pay range for their location during the interview process if an alternative location is an option.
/li liThis position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based premio, the criteria for which are based on company factors and will be shared during the recruitment process.
