/ph3The Role /h3pWe are seeking an bApplied Robotics Engineer /b to contribute to the development and deployment of our innovative products.
As a key member of the Xaba team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping AI-powered robotics automation, while closely collaborating with the leadership team.
/ph3What you will do /h3pCollaborate with Xaba's cross-functional team of engineers to support the development, testing and deployment of AI models leveraging state-of-the-art DNN, CNN and GNN models to augment industrialrobotics cognition, awareness and facilitate their program generation.
/ppConduct applied research in Robotics Welding, Inspection, Machining, and Assembling to gather data.
This supports the development, training, auditing, and validation of physics-based AI models for robotics fabrication processes.
/ppProvide training and support for Xaba's products.
/ppWork closely with customers to understand their requirements and pain points, ensuring successful integration of AI-powered robotics software.
/ph3Technical Expertise /h3pWorking experience with bindustrial robot manipulators /b: ABB, FANUC, UR, KUKA, etc.
/ppDemonstrated hands?on experience in bdesigning /b, bbuilding /band bdeploying /brobotic systems.
/ppPractical knowledge of robotic fabrication processes, including welding, machining, assembling, or inspection.
/ppProficiency in both spoken and written bEnglish /b.
/ph3Nice to have /h3pExperiencewith SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CloudCompare.
/ppFamiliarity with robotic hardware components, sensors, actuators, lasers and cameras.
/ppKnowledge of brobotic programming languages /b: RAPID, URSCRIPT, KRL, etc.
/ppSolid understanding of bkey robotic aspects /b: forward and inverse kinematics, jacobians, collision detection, path-planning, control theory.
/ph3Education /h3pBackground in Industrial Robotics, Automation, or degree in Mechanical Engineering.
/ph3Our location /h3pWhile our team is remote-first and fully distributed, but bfor this position you must live near Milan (MI) or Pavia (PV), Italy where our offices and robotics lab are located.
