/p pAs a Design Engineer, you will focus on the development of combines in the crop processing area.
Working alongside the international team, you will be responsible for designing and developing moderately complex structures and sheet metal components, ensuring they meet stringent performance, durability, quality, and serviceability standards.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to optimizing designs for production while ensuring alignment with the broader project goals.
/p h3Your Impact /h3 ul li3?D and 2?D designing and developing parts, assemblies and mechanism using a variety of materials and fabrication technologies /li liCreation of detailed production?quality fabrication drawings, design documentation, and assembly drawings for new and existing parts and ultimately manage engineering changes ECR?ECN (EPDM or similar tools preferred) /li liParticipate in design reviews with cross?functional teams (Quality, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc.) /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCollaborate on project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely delivery.
/li liContribute to product validation and testing activities.
/li /ul h3Your Experience and Qualifications /h3 ul liDiploma Perito, Bachelor's, or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
/li li3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
/li liBackground in agricultural machinery and equipment is required.
/li liProficient in 3?D and 2?D modeling (ProE preferred) and MS Office tools.
/li liSkilled in drawing layouts and GDT methodology.
/li liExtensive experience in designing and developing Sheet metal, castings,



fabricated steel structures and mechanisms including welded and bolted assemblies.
/li liKnowledge of material properties, manufacturing techniques (Design for Manufacturing), failure and Root Cause analysis, inspection techniques, coatings, and fasteners.
/li liAbility to justify design decisions with calculations, analysis and written documentation.
/li liUnderstanding of crop flow mechanics, finite element analysis, DEM, CFD tools, and linkages.
/li liProficiency in designing and specifying sheaves, belts, and bearings.
/li liStrong and pragmatic problem?solving skills with a positive and collaborative attitude.
/li liFluent in English (spoken and written) Italian mother tongue.
/li liWillingness to participate in field test activities, investigate concerns, identify resolutions, and report results, primarily within European countries.
/li liAvailability for occasional international travel to Europe, the United States, and Brazil.
