Position: PRODUCTION MANAGER
Job Responsibilities
Guarantee respect for production plans in terms of quantity, quality, timing and efficiency.
Guarantee proper organization of means and resources in the workshop, ensuring all safety and health standards are met.
Support and take care of the resources within the perimeter to mantain a motivating and engaged climate/environment in production dept.
Supervise the whole Leather Goods manufacturing process, in order to reach expected volumes and efficiency targets
Manage a team of 4 Production Supervisors, around 130 artisans, 1 production Industrialization technician
Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team
Guarantee respect of production plan daily/weekly, giving feedbacks to planning department
Produce progress reports on efficiency and other relevant KPIs
Ensure respect of quality standards as far as finished products are concerned
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff and supervise the recruitment, polyvalence and development plan.
Profile
Education: University egree in Industrial Engineering or similar
Experience: minimum 5 years in the role in an industrial manufacturing context
Expertise on manufacturing processes and Lean Manufacturing
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Ability to coach and motivate
Strong team builing attitude
Problem solving and decision making
Negotiation skills
Excellent computer knowledges
Fluent English & Italian – French will be a plus.
Additional Information
Within the Production Department,
the position reports to the Production Director.
Relationships with Supply Chain, Quality, Industrialization and external suppliers.
Location Strada in Chianti (FIRENZE), Tuscany (Italy)

Salary and Employment
For new joiners in this role in Italy, the initial annual gross salary is EUR ******,00.
This salary has been determined on the basis of objective and gender-neutral criteria and corresponds to the compensation normally granted for this position at the time of publication of this job posting.
Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as your unique combination of experience and skills, seniority, and current organisational needs.
This role also provides for participation in a bonus scheme, at Company's discretion, based on factors such as individual and/or company performance.
In addition to the benefits provided by law, further benefits may be granted in accordance with current company policies.
The employment relationship will be governed by the provisions of the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL Pelli e Succedanei) (and the supplementary company agreement), as applied by Celine in Italy.
