Scrum Master (Italian Speaker) | Remote

We're currently partnered with a leading financial services organisation as they continue to expand their Agile delivery capability. We're looking to speak with experienced Scrum Masters who are passionate about coaching teams, driving Agile best practice, and delivering measurable outcomes.

This is a fully remote opportunity, requiring fluent Italian .

The Role

As Scrum Master, you'll work across two Agile teams in parallel , acting as a servant leader and Agile coach to help teams maximise their performance and delivery. You'll collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and management, ensuring Agile principles are embedded while supporting continuous improvement across people, processes, and delivery.

You'll play a key role in developing team capability, removing impediments, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and adapting Agile practices where appropriate to best support project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Support Product Owners with backlog refinement and prioritisation.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices and continuous improvement.
- Help establish and develop new Agile teams, increasing their capability and maturity over time.
- Identify, manage and remove impediments impacting delivery.
- Work across two delivery teams simultaneously.
- Build strong relationships with technical teams, business stakeholders and senior management.
- Protect teams from external pressures while maintaining delivery commitments.
- Introduce appropriate improvements to Agile processes where they add value.
- Define, monitor and report on Agile and team performance KPIs.
- Ensure agreed Agile standards,



processes and governance are consistently applied.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
- Provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

- Fluent Italian speaker with fluent communication skills.
- Minimum of 4 years' proven experience as a Scrum Master within complex organisations.
- Experience supporting multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Strong coaching and mentoring ability, with a genuine passion for developing team capability.
- Experience helping establish new teams and improving Agile maturity.
- Ability to balance operational delivery with cultural and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong conflict resolution, communication and facilitation skills.
- Delivery-focused mindset with experience using KPIs to measure team performance.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum, Agile methodologies and Kanban.
- Experience using Jira.

Desirable Experience

- Previous experience within the banking or wider financial services sector.
- Knowledge of Lean Agile Portfolio Management frameworks.
- Scrum Master certification (desirable but not essential).

Interview Focus Candidates should be prepared to discuss practical examples including:

- How they approach setting up a brand-new Agile team.
- How they coach teams through periods of high workload and delivery pressure.
- How they protect delivery teams when conflicting priorities are introduced by senior stakeholders.
- Examples of increasing team capability through coaching and servant leadership.
- How they have adapted Scrum practices to better support project delivery while remaining true to Agile principles.
