Power Platform governance & automation specialist

For one of our client, DropaCode is looking for a Power Platform governance & automation specialist to work onsite in Geneva or remotely from a nearshore Europe location, following CET working hours.
Duties and responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the ICT Solutions Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible to lead the governance, controls, monitoring and ongoing evolution of the organization's Power Platform environment. The role will provide strategic and technical leadership across Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse and connectors, ensuring that automations and solutions are secure, well-governed, scalable, compliant and aligned with organizational priorities.
- The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
- Design, implement and maintain enterprise-level governance, controls and guardrails for the Power Platform, including environment strategy, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connector governance.
- Establish and operate monitoring, alerting and reporting for Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions, including usage, capacity, licensing consumption, failures, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Develop a target-state Power Platform environment architecture, together with a migration plan for existing Power Apps and flows. Define and maintain the target architecture,
standards and technology roadmap for automation and low-code development across the organization.
- Lead the design, implementation, modernization and lifecycle management of Power Automate flows and Power Platform solutions, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment and transition to operations.
- Implement Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices, including solution management, source control, and controlled deployment across development, test and production environments.
- Review, rationalize and remediate existing flows and apps, ensuring appropriate ownership, security, error handling, and adherence to governance policies.
- Provide technical oversight and design assurance for Power Platform projects, procurements, upgrades, migrations, and vendor-delivered solutions.
- Maintain architecture and governance documentation and ensure effective knowledge transfer, operational readiness, vendor accountability, and continuous improvement of the platform.
Professional requirements
- A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible professional experience working with Microsoft tools and technologies in enterprise environments.
- At least five years of demonstrable, hands-on experience with Power Automate and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse), including the design, development and administration of enterprise-grade solutions.
- Proven strong knowledge of Power Automate and the Power Platform, with demonstrable experience of implementing enterprise-level controls, governance and monitoring of the tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in Power Platform administration and governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, connector management, Managed Environments, the Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit, and tenant-level administration. Prior experience in setting up such governance for enterprises is an advantage.
- Experience establishing monitoring, alerting, reporting and analytics for automation estates, including capacity and licensing management, flow reliability, and compliance reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for the Power Platform, including solutions, source control integration, and automated deployment pipelines.
- Good understanding of security, identity and integration in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and API/connector integration patterns.
- Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements analysis, solution design, development oversight, testing, deployment, vendor coordination, and transition to operations.
- Proven ability to develop solution architectures, technical roadmaps, standards, and design documentation, and to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and senior management.
- Any Microsoft certifications a premio (e.g. Power Platform Functional Consultant, Power Platform Solution Architect, or Power Platform Developer).
- Qualification and experience
- University degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience working with Microsoft tools, of which at least 5 years working with Power Automate and the Power Platform. xysqume
