Senior Consultant | Competition Economics | Rome

We are currently supporting a leading independent economic consultancy, specialising in competition, antitrust and regulatory economics, with the appointment of a Senior Economist to join their Rome office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced competition economist to join a high quality team and take genuine ownership of cases, working closely with Partners while developing client relationships and managing junior economists.

This is a role offering real responsibility and autonomy from the outset, rather than simply supporting more senior economists.
Take ownership of projects and case strategy
Manage and develop junior economists

Lead and manage competition economics projects from inception through to delivery
Develop economic analysis and contribute to case strategy
Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact




Oversee and mentor junior economists
Contribute to European Commission and public enforcement projects
Key Skills & Experience
~3-5+ years’ experience within an economic consultancy
~ Strong background in competition economics, antitrust or merger economics
~ Comfortable managing client relationships and junior team members
~ Previous experience within a competition authority alongside consultancy experience would also be of interest
~ Native/Fluent Italian
