DESCRIPTION
Position Overview
As MES Systems Lead at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation and post-go-live operations at the manufacturing site level.
You will act as the key coordination point between site users, Global MES teams, IT, Infrastructure, ERP, MES offshore development/configuration teams, vendors, and implementation partners.



You will use your functional and technical knowledge of MES platforms and manufacturing processes to clarify requirements, support business process reengineering, manage site-level MES governance, and coordinate activities across the full MES lifecycle, from site readiness and implementation through go-live, hypercare, and steady-state support.
You will also play a key role in the site's multi-year manufacturing systems transformation, supporting the transition from legacy MES platforms to PharmaSuite while ensuring business continuity and operational readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main site-level IT coordination and governance contact for MES projects and support activities
Build strong working relationships with Operations, Quality, MSAT, Validation, Site IT, Global MES, Infrastructure, ERP, vendors, and implementation partners
