Job Description
Founded in ****, ASEM has actively participated in the evolution of digital information technologies and today we operate in the markets of Industrial Automation, Test, Measurement with a complete range of industrial PCs and monitors and a complete range of HMI, control, remote assistance, and Industrial IoT gateways, characterized by our own hardware, firmware, software, mechanical and system design capability.

As a Software Test Engineer, you will contribute to the development and validation of FactoryTalk® OptixTM — a modern visualization platform designed to improve efficiency, scalability, and collaboration in industrial environments.
You will support software testing activities across the development lifecycle, working with experienced engineers to ensure product quality.
You will report to the Test & Technical Project Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Verona, Italy.
Your Responsibilities
Complete software testing activities, including test design, execution, and reporting
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of manual and automated test cases under guidance
Help develop automated tests using Python or Squish
Participate in reviews of requirements, designs, and test cases
Monitor test execution results and report software defects
Help maintain test documentation according to team standards
Collaborate with global teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
Support continuous integration activities by building and updating test cases
Learn and apply testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
The Essentials - You Will Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
Basic knowledge or initial experience in software testing
Basic programming knowledge (preferably Python or similar language)
Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems
1+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
English skills
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Squish or similar)
Experience with virtualization concepts (e.g., VMWare)
Interest in industrial automation or software systems
Experience working in team-based development environments
