With 69 Innovation and R&D; design centres globally, we specialize in disruptive technology spaces such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Collaborative Robots, Digital Factory, and Autonomous TransportWe are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :-Staff Automotive BSW Engineer Turin, ItalyKey Responsibilities: Lead the design and integration of OS and hypervisor platforms (e.G., QNX, QNX Hypervisor, Linux, Android GVM) for automotive SoCsArchitect and implement cybersecurity features at the OS and virtualization layers, including secure boot, runtime isolation, access control, and memory protectionCollaborate with platform security teams to define and implement threat mitigations, attack surface reduction, and secure software lifecycle practicesDevelop and configure drivers for UART, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, and LVDSContribute to BSP integration, system bring-up,



and OS/Hypervisor initialization on new SoC platformsDebug and troubleshoot system-level issues using industry-standard tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and trace probesBasic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience in embedded software development, including OS/hypervisor integration and security architectureStrong programming skills in C/C++, and familiarity with secure coding practices and static analysisDeep expertise in at least one OS/hypervisor platform such as QNX, Linux, or Android GVM, and virtualization technologiesHands-on experience with secure boot, access control mechanisms, MMU/MPU configuration, and cryptographic librariesProven experience with BSP development, device drivers, and SoC bring-upPreferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with security threat modeling, penetration testing, and risk assessmentFamiliarity with hardware security features (TPM, TrustZone, HSM) and secure firmwareDeep understanding of ISO/SAE *****, UNECE WP.29, and automotive cybersecurity requirementsExperience working on ASIL-B/D safety-rated systemsProficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and test automation for embedded platformsExposure to vehicle networks (CAN, Ethernet, LIN) and network security protocolsPlease apply with your CV, we are really looking forward to hear from you and have you #EngineeringTheChangetogether
